Re: Sulphur Springs Deer processing?

Jason, I haven't personally used them, but you could try Hopkins County Food Locker 158 Putman Street. From the looks of it they are close to downtown S-Spring. I live 30 min North of there and ours is quite a drive even for us. If all else fails, you could always just swing in to a local store and ...

Re: chl distribution?

To answer your first question "yes" - on the DPS website there is information regarding how many per county per year and total.

The second question "NO" and no one should be carrying a concealed handgun without a proper CHL. In the car is OK but not on your person.

Re: NE Texas Range (Gun Rental)

Thanks for the suggestions the range a bullet trap was nice. Lots to choose from when it comes to renting guns. We were looking for a Kimber CDP II but it was out for repair at the time so we went with a similar Kimber model that they had. After shooting the Kimber the wife was hooked. Needless to s...

NE Texas Range (Gun Rental)

Hey guys and gals,

Looking for a range in North East Texas that offers rentals. A Google search only brought up one in the DFW area so I thought that I would turn to the boards to see if one would turn up closer. Ideally looking for a range that offers a wide selection located NE of Dallas.

Re: Carrying in Hawaii

Just got back from Hawaii a couple of months ago (stayed 2 weeks) and was disappointed that Texas recognizes Hawaii CHL's but they don't return the favor for Texans. :bigmouth

Re: New Here

If nothing else the class eased her mind and made us grow closer as a couple. Expat, first, welcome to the forum! What country are you originally from? (I assume that "Expat" means you emigrated from somewhere?). You'll find that a number of us here are also married to CHL holders, and I ...

New Here

First off let me start off saying Thanks for all of the help, the forum has been a real eye opener over the last couple of weeks, to say the least. Second, why I decided to apply for my CHL. The reason is simple, due to my current employment it requires long durations away from the homestead. During...
