Re: ammo on sale
Cabela's in Allen as of around noon today. The American Eagle was so plentiful it overflowed onto other shelves. At 50c/round I don't see it selling too quickly.

Billy Bob's and TABC Signage
Short Version If the TABC website lists an establishment as BLUE and they have RED signs posted, is it legal and/or advisable to carry there? Long Version The Mrs. and I are planning to attend a concert at Billy Bob's tonight and my initial suspicions were that the place would be a 51% location. Do...

Re: Random carry at hospital story (small lesson maybe?)
However, on the 3rd and 2nd floor the signs in front of the elevators have a giant red 51 on them. My question is is there anything wrong with the hospital posting the 51 sign or can it be fined by the BATFE or anything like that? I'm trying to figure out how a hospital thinks that 51% of their rev...

Good range for shooting a Mosin (DFW)
I recently received a 1943 Tula M91/30 Mosin-Nagant from a good friend for my graduation (fantastic present). Now I need to find out where I can shoot this thing! I've looked around on the web a bit and it looks like Alpine may fit the bill. Does anyone have any experience there? I'm in the DFW area...

Re: High School Sporting Event Question
I'm envisioning a league made up of club teams funded privately, many teams are organized the same as the schools that the kids belong to but not all of them. The schools are used as a way to group players. This isn't so different from leagues that use school boundaries to define where their player...

High School Sporting Event Question
My younger brother is on a sports team that is "unofficially" a high school team, in that it is not sponsored by the school, receives no funding from the school, and does not use the school's name, colors, or logos (although it has in the past). However, the team is comprised solely of kid...

Got a great graduation present yesterday
http://i.imgur.com/9nlzIl.jpg Glock 26 Gen 3 My local gun shop has an indoor range connected to it, so I got to put a box of ammo through it before I even walked out the door. I tested it with standard FMJ target ammo and the Speer Gold Dots I bought to use as carry ammo. Both brands ran like a cha...
