actually Mike, you are not quite right there, a person elected to REPRESENT us(they do not represent themselves) actually is supposed to listen to his or her constituants and vote accordingly not vote what he or she wants that is a republic not a democracy a democracy is when the politician votes his or her own opinion the the realm of politics moves into socialism then into communism
