Honestly I can't really say either way, not that experienced when it comes to handguns so can't really give an accurate assessment. All I know is that this one felt good.

So I just got home from the firing range with my purchase, went with a Springfield XDm 9mm 3.8" 18+1. Fired through 100 rounds without any failure to feed, eject. ect ect... In end I went with this one because it just felt really good in my hand when firing. Thank you all for your feedback and suggestions. Pics below. :)

Live in North Austin/Cedar Park, I have a buddy who I am going to the range with soon and he has a few I am going to try.

So I could use some advice looking for my first firearm and I have decided that I want a 9mm and have a budget of like $500-$700. I am a big boy and have oven mitts for hands so I would not feel comfortable using something as small as a SIG p238. As this is my first handgun I would like something that would be a reliable carry once I get my CHL and fun to shoot. Pretty new when it comes to handguns as I have only shot Rifles/Shotguns with Boyscouts.

So far what has caught my eye is the;

SIG P239

This is with me just browsing online and not going into any shops and trying them out which is what I intended to before I actually make a purchase.
Any suggestions that would lead me in the right direction is much appreciated.

*edit* Forgot to mention that I am left handed but right eye dominant if that matters in picking.
