I am on a public forum and airing my issues, so feel free to butt in!
I may just gradually start carrying, once she gets more used to it. She ocassionally will come up and pat my hips to see if I have it on or not. I have told her she does not need to do that since chances are I will have it.

Re: How may of y'all carry to church?
That was probably meant for me. She is not comfortable with me carrying at all, but is getting better. She had a gun held to her head, during a robbery, and it created a fear of guns rather than helping her to understand we have to prepare for evil.
When Dave Grossman talks about sheep, and people in denial that evil can cross their threshold, they could put a picture of my wife next to it. She thinks that thinking about what could happen, carrying while at home and while not at home, are sign of paranoia. She feels there are other measures that can be taken to ward off a threat (which there is, but pepper spray and close combat training do not always cut it). I printed out a copy of Dave's speech, which is in a different thread. I am going to highlight parts of it and have her read it. It says what I feel, only better than I could ever say it.
I am working on it. I do not plan to stop carrying, and may talk to my pastor about talking to her regarding carrying in church. She has the choice to accept I stand ready to protect my family, or not...it is up to her!

Re: How may of y'all carry to church?
I run the sound board in my church, and it is in an elevated loft. This is the perfect location to be able to see the entire sanctuary. My wife has asked me to not carry, but I am trying to work on her like water on a rock. I need the pastor to tell her he wants me to carry. At any rate, his son-in-law is also a CHL guy, and he does carry every Sunday, Wednesday, and so on.
