So the weirdest thing just happened at work....my plastic came in the mail...im very happy but very confused lol. Why would it come to my work address?

I can't believe I'm saying this but it looks like my wait continues. No plastic again.

my mailman came early. No plastic again. Im not happy.

I am right on the edge of Mesquite and Dallas. If i go across the street from my apartments I am in Dallas. My mailman doesnt get to my apartments until after 5 most days and my section of mailboxes is the last ones he does :( ill be waiting until tonight. But i know i can count on an update from you! If you get your plastic today I can guarantee i get mine!

you are the main reason i am worried. lol my application always updated right when yours did. I am afraid it will copy you on this too.

well i had my hopes up for it being in my mailbox today too....but now im seeing you and another person on here that went mailed on the 22nd not get theirs and im thinking I wont either. Bummer. I have waited 54 days...i guess i can wait one more.

Today my background check went GREEN!! I am now OFFICIALLY manufacturing!!

Hopefully within a day or two my status will go to PRINTING or MAILED!!!

So I decided to humor myself and call again this morning and see what I would be told. This time I was told that mine was being manufactured...lol so who knows what its actually doing. Three different people three different answers. For all I know it could show up in my mailbox today.

Hopefully mine is still in the same folder as yours! lol I am going to go sit on hold and see what i can find out. Website still says waiting on bg check.


EDIT* Well now i wish i wouldnt have called. Im confused. I called a couple of days ago and the person i talked to told me that it looked like everything was good to go I was just waiting on someone to sign off on the whole process and then it would go to manufacturing. I was told my status would change within a day or two. Now the person I talked to told me that they are still working on my bg check and it wouldnt be done until the first week of May?!?!? Who do I believe? I know who i want to believe!

This sounds like my experience so far, mine was just 14 days later. I posted most of this on another thread, but:

2.27 - Class / ink fingerprints
2.28 - Mailed packet standard usps
3.02 - Packet received
3.17 - called DPS, confirmed packet receipt on 3.02
3.21 - website still says "waiting on receipt", still no letter from the state.

I am in the same position.

It would be nice for it to just show up in the mailbox in the next 10 days or so
