RRA Dominator2 EOTech Mount
What EOTech models works with this mount? Their site says the 553 & 557 or model with integral riser is not compatible. I was looking at the 517 but was not sure if it is compatible? Thanks. Recommendations on a EOTech model? I will want to add a magnifier later.

Re: Doublestar ar-15
From looking around for EOTech optics & on GunBroker, the 512 runs around 350-400. GunBroker has some of those Doublestar ARs listed (not sure what model you are looking at) for around 700. I would price the pieces on GunBroker & compare to new. It sounds like the rifle is in like new condit...

Re: April 2011 Applications

Re: Mob of Thieves Swarms Las Vegas Convenience Store
That was crazy. I have never see something like that. It might of been a "senior prank" gone wild. They will catch them with all the video & license plate numbers. The video said the clerk was trained to let them take it. It just results in higher insurance or prices on products.

Re: Gun for Carry and IDPA
I went through the same process a while back. I went with a Glock 19. I carry it & shoot in competitions with it, IDPA & some other IDPA style matches. I did add night sights to replace the stock sights. We compete in low light conditions & the stock sights were not useful. 9MM is cheape...

Re: L1 website / receipt name field order all mixed up?
That happened to me when I registered online. I cancelled the registration for finger prints at the end of the CHL registration. Wait a few hours & go to the L1 website. Then you can register & the name will be correct. It took a full day for my info to be available so I could register with ...

Gun show prices
I went to the gun show today in Dallas. I have a few things that I have been looking for. I know the prices from the internet & other places that I get stuff. I noticed that the cash price of these items at the gun show is higher. Some of them a lot higher prices. I have not bought a firearm at ...

CP 46.02 Question
My understanding is that I can carry a concealed handgun in my vehicle under 46.02 without a CHL. I was told that the handgun cannot be on my person - in a pocket or a holster, that it has to be in the vehicle. From reading 46.02, I do not see where is says that. Can someone explain or point out whe...

Thanks for the replies. What is the best option the combo lock or a key lock? I would think the combo may take longer to open or issues with opening it in the dark?

Re: Stow in vehicle options
Thanks for the welcome. I am looking at gun safes for my vehicle. I am curious to see what has worked well for others for a truck or min-van without a trunk.

Stow in vehicle options
I am going through the process to get my CHL. I travel to customer sites throughout the day & there are some sites that prohibit conceal carry. I would need to leave my handgun in my vehicle. I just dont like the idea of leaving it in the car but need to follow the rules. What are the options? G...
