Re: Noah

Re: Noah

Sure. Aronofsy (sp?) is an atheist. The movies is not about scripture, it is about the horrible humans who pollute mother earth. All of the bad humans must die to save the earth from pollution, not sin. Extreme environmentalism professes the extirmination of humanity. Commit suicide, save the plane...

What does atheism have to do with the environment and extinction of undesirable humans? I feel like I owe you a chance to explain yours...

Re: Noah

Just accept the bible is not a history book and it will be easier to make sense of the world around you when you don't have to reconcile everything with a book written by men in the Bronze Age, who had little understanding of the universe around them. As bad the the Noah movie probably is, it would ...

Buy the ring online if you want to save a load of cash. I bought my fiancé's ring at Bluenile.com. It worked out well and was super easy. No sales pressure to deal with either.

Re: The Incandescent Light Bulb R.I.P. ?

Say what you will about government interference in the bulb market, it has led to some pretty neat technology in the LED market that would not have happened for many years otherwise. Necessity is the mother of invention. Prices will become more reasonable as the years go on. We have already seen so...

Re: The Incandescent Light Bulb R.I.P. ?

As much as some of you would disagree with the practice, the government also forces the manufactures to post specs on all new bulbs, so you know exactly what you are getting. This just forces the consumers to become better educated in order to get what they want. There is a slight learning curve, bu...
