That's the way he was describing it on the radio. I didn't bother watching.

Re: Houston Self Defense Trial

...I don't think this is "entire and uncut"...it appears to have started well after first contact...

...this report also mentions a 22-minute video... " onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Re: Houston Self Defense Trial

...people are going to make mistakes...even well-meaning folks not spouting their own agendas...it sounds trite to continually say "look it up for yourself" and "read it in the law for yourself" and "know the law"...kinda like "read the contract" and "didja lock the door?" and "are your windows up?"...but we're talking about our freedom...not only to continue carrying...but to go home to our families...is it important??? I may go to prison someday...but not because I didn't know the law...I don't trust LEOs, instructors, lawyers to keep me free...I'm gonna check it out in the law for myself...(then there's the flip side of that...where the LEO, Prosecutor, Judge, or GJ may get it wrong...but you gotta trust the Almighty for that part)...who says it has to be easy...

...right...the buck stops with the name on the CHL...no excuse not to know the law for himself...I remember signing affidavits upon renewal...one that said I had read and understood the laws...

Re: Houston Self Defense Trial

...LEOs have had to live down a whole lot more and a whole lot more often...we'll do fine...the best we can do is to be sure we're not a part of the problem in any way...and correct others' misconceptions about CHL and the Castle Doctrine with the FACTS as we have opportunity to do so...
