Re: Sir, are you okay?

Did you remember to unplug the coffee pot and lock the front door? You have moved from cognitive recognition of normal acts to habitual or automatic mode. OR you may be getting old. Maybe the latter since you think in 8mm Black and White. That's funny! "rlol" considering I forgot my sidea...

Sir, are you okay?

This morning my life flashed before my eyes!!! and when it happened I must have turned white as a ghost because the lady at panda express even asked, Sir are you okay? I was adjusting my shirt as I approached the counter and something felt strange, As I ran my hand across my holster (owb @ 3 oclock)...

Re: Cow caused LE contact

WOW. I am sorry you had this collision, but glad it was not worse. That was a close one. In areas where the nearest trauma hospital is some distance away, helicopter rides for car accidents are pretty common. There is more or less a standard set of criteria for deciding who flies, and head trauma w...

Re: Does anyone esle go out naked in the rain?

Do you all leave the pistola at the la casa when it rains? No. For one thing, I don't stand around and let myself get soaked. For another, water won't kill your gun. You just have to make sure to dry it off and re-lube it when you get home. ummm... well standing around getting soaked is never my id...

Does anyone esle go out naked in the rain?

I got up this morning, after a bright and noisy night, to the welcome sight of continued rain. As I dressed for work I left my Bodyguard .380 in the safe not wanting to run the risk of a soggy sidearm and I have felt naked all day. Do you all leave the pistola at the la casa when it rains? Work does...

Re: What do you do at work?

Luckily, I write the policy so.... as long as you are a current CHL'er and in good standing with the state, carry at will. Again proper carrying means out of sight - out of mind. No one should ever be able to pick out who is and who isn't carrying. From time to time we have to enter buildings that a...

Re: What did Santa bring

I was particularly good this year and received a new 30 gun safe, a decent little EAA Windicator (38/357), a bluing kit, a nifty Plano case and a $50 cabelas card. For the record I spoiled Mrs. Clause a little this year a well. :tiphat:

Re: NEW Texas CHL CATCH 22 BEWARE!

First off, I like the question. It's one of those thinkers that generates lots of discussion. I'm not a LEO but I have LEO contacts everyday and yes I'm always carrying, some know that I carry and some don't, but spending many hours talking with LEO's gets you some insight into there world. What I h...
