In the twitter link in the OP, his text is below the videos. About 7 lines from the top he writes that he "yelled"... "Customer assistance needed in sporting goods!"... after hearing that request being ignored 4 times over the intercom.
I can vouch that Walmart has terrible customer service and response to the intercom. Just last Wednesday it took me over 15 min., 4 interactions with Walmart employees (twice with the Asst. Mgr.), two intercom pages, and finally Eeyore showed up so I could pluck a $9.00 headlamp out of the locked case.

I can understand, and might have done it myself, him yelling for customer service. I have been known to call the store on the phone to request help while I am standing in the department. I do think, that as an OCer, you should be careful of how you project yourself, and the rest of us. There might have been a better way of voicing his concern.
If you're OC-Ing, failing to consider the circumstances is on you. Like it or not.

Were I in the same position and felt strongly about it, I'd have filed a report with the police, letting them know that the gun counter was unattended. Maybe sent it to ATF. Not my job to fix Walmart. Absolutely stupid to yell at Walmart while OC-ing.

I'm not saying he deserved to be treated badly or trespassed for life, but, there were, literally, a million better choices the guy could have made.
I must have missed the yelling at the gun counter part. There was nothing in what I read (unless I totally missed it) that said he was yelling. Only that he asked to speak to a manager about the counter being unlocked and unattended.

I'll try to embed it here... sometimes Twitter hates me.
