You either believe that or you don't.

Re: Mike Pence @ NRA Annual Meeting
I haven't seen any confirmation about where President Trump will be speaking... Anyone know? The only ticketed event on Friday, and the only forum type event as far I I know, is the ILA-Leadership Forum where Pence is scheduled to speak. Will Trump also be at this event?
The Annual Meeting of members isn't until Saturday.. If POTUS is coming on Friday... seems the ILA-Forum would be the place..
Anyone see a confirmation either way?

Re: Mike Pence @ NRA Annual Meeting
Interesting idea. In a choice between locking my gun in the car or handing it to someone I've only ever met on the internet, I'm surprisingly more comfortable with choosing the latter. I'll make a few calls to see if I can entice a friend or 2 to come with me on Friday. ThanksBitter Clinger wrote:If I read the events schedule correctly, he is speaking in the early afternoon on Friday, while exhibit hall is still open? I am sure that one of us TXCHLForum members who are not attending the speech could hold your firearm for you if you need to disarm.RoyGBiv wrote:The VP will be speaking in an arena that requires tickets for entry.KC5AV wrote:I'm pretty sure the only area that will be off-limits will be where @VP is speaking. Will the entire arena be off limits? And if yes, is there a place to check my gun or do I need to choose between carrying that day or attending the forum?

Re: Mike Pence @ NRA Annual Meeting
So... I have a ticket to this event...
Will I have a problem carrying?
What's the chance that when I ask the SS for a place to check my gun, they don't laugh at me?
So now I have to choose between throwing out my ticket or going to Dallas unarmed?

Time to email ILA..During the 2018 NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits, lawfully carried firearms will be permitted in the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center and the Omni Dallas Hotel in accordance with Texas law. When carrying your firearm remember to follow all federal, state, and local laws.
