I read it and was wondering the same thing. I did not pick up on anything that really got my attention.

Only thing that really stuck out to me was that churches were given a loophole on the gathering ban.

several friends are very angry about the big church meeting that happened in FL, and one of my friend's parents are ill because of the church meeting in Ark, although I think one actually happened right before things really broke out.
Apparently the pastor in FL has been arrested, I have a feeling he'll be released pretty quickly....for the same reason gun stores are being reopened, The Constitution. Just as our government is learning about the 2nd Amendment, they apparently need to relearn the 1st and stop threatening Churches.
Now....do I think it's right or safe to hold church services? I don't know....probably not, but it should be up to the church, not the government.

Yes, I don't believe they intentionally released it. They wouldn't have released it if they didn't have a cure, that doesn't make any sense, also they wouldn't have let it get to Iran, their ally.
I do believe they developed it and weaponized it.
My scenario sort of involves a $2/day employee smuggling out a lab rat or a vial to sell, somehow it gets loose or falls....something like that.

Both of my kid's colleges have extended their spring break, my daughter's has said they are going to on-line for the following two weeks, UT is "recommending" on-line. The instructors are now going to have to figure out if they can do that and make their case if they can't. This going to get interesting for those in lab and art classes. My daughter is just glad she got her internship hours in last semester, this is her final semester, she's hoping this doesn't mess up her graduation.

The way I understand it, the Study Abroad association/organization has cancelled all of the programs. A friend's daughter was suppose to be in Japan starting later this month, first UTSA made her change her flight around, then Study Abroad changed her location, then UTSA cancelled her program, then Study Abroad said that it would be cancelled....now she can't get into any classes, her whole spring semester is blown. she MAY get to go in the fall, we'll see.
