Re: Security Guards in Schools

I know it is sticky. That's why I mentioned getting an Armed Security guard License. But the license requires a security firm hold the license.

Security Guards in Schools

To help secure our schools, is there any way a retired person, with a CHL, could volunteer to guard a school. I would think they would need additional training, such as the requirements for a armed security guard. But could this be done without a security firm to hold the license? Could a security firm be formed to hold the license and each individual hold personnel liability? I don't know about each of you , but I would rather have a 70 year old CHL'er in a wheel chair between my gran-child and a bad guy than a dozen Swat members, 10 min. away. No disrespect to the SWAT members.
