Re: Smith Enterprise Letter to Governor Cuomo Regarding Gun
Do you think it would do any good if we all contacted the majors with our request to stop sales to NY and other states that restrict our rights? If so could someone provide the addresses to do so.

I took my chl there years ago and have shot there several times since. Very good range. Jack the owner is a very good guy.

If it was taught to all students in school, everyone would be on the list eventually.

Re: Gun Safty Classes
My main concern is that a lot of people out of panic are getting guns. Most have had no contact or training at all. Children in homes that have never been exposed to guns are curious and that is what gets children hurt. Training would be better for all and better than registration.

Re: Gun Safty Classes
I actually agree, but we require hunter safety classes for all hunters under a set age. This has worked for us here in Texas for years now.

Gun Safty Classes
To satisfy the people that say"If it could save only one life". Instead of registration, bans, background checks and other useless actions. Before you could purchase a gun you would have to show certification of completion of a gun safety class. The certification could be either public, su...

Re: Security Guards in Schools
I know it is sticky. That's why I mentioned getting an Armed Security guard License. But the license requires a security firm hold the license.

Security Guards in Schools
To help secure our schools, is there any way a retired person, with a CHL, could volunteer to guard a school. I would think they would need additional training, such as the requirements for a armed security guard. But could this be done without a security firm to hold the license? Could a security f...

Re: Do We Really Want Safe Schools?
Charles I think you are going in the right direction. May I suggest a low cost addition. I am sure that there are numerous retired persons that have CHL's that would be glad to take additional training and spend time at the schools. We grandparents want our grandchildren safe.

Carry as usual, but I understand and felt your concern. People can and do overreact.

Another Shooting
All shootings are very sad and my prayers go out to all touched by these actions. But is it me or are most happening in Liberal States?

Re: Giving guns as gifts to my sisters
YOu might want to look at HiPoint carbines, they can be purchased for less than $300 each and are hand gun calibers, No recoil to speak of and very reliable.
