That's unfortunate... I'm still not sure if it qualifies as "notice" in the TX CHL law sense of the word since the letter (haven't seen the interview) said it was a request rather than a ban. I don't go there much anymore anyway.

Let this be a lesson to people trying to draw attention to their cause... If your efforts make the mainstream news much before your bill comes up for a vote, you're just an adult throwing temper tantrums like a toddler, and people see that for what it is.

How so? It's not 30.06 language, and perhaps more to the point he says it's not a ban. Also, he says he's talking about openly carrying.
