Saying that is missing several points and IMHO being quite insensitive to the families of those slain.

Fortunately, since he's not in office anymore I can resume not caring what he says or thinks, but still it stings a bit coming from someone I thought was the side of, well, decency (assuming, of course that it wasn't a misquote or somehow taken out of context).

IMHO, PTSD is not understood well-enough to justify disarming all who have it.

I'd love to know how the soldiers coming back from WWI & WWII dealt with their issues... I don't recall hearing about many shootings after either of those wars, or even after Vietnam. Maybe they just didn't make the news.

And if serving the government makes one a "potential terrorist", perhaps the government ought to shut itself down until it figures out why they're making so many terrorists.
