I like your idea, Dan. If the only downside is ease of reholstering (I agree with you that the draw is WAY more improtant than one-hand reholstering) that could be fixed by using Kydex instead of all lether on the holster itself. I seems like this idea would be easy to adapt for use with any of the IWB hybrid holsters out there (commercial or homemade). Here's one I made recently that would be adaptable to the TDM Belt system by just changing out the clips and making an inner belt for it.
