Don't you just LOVE those Sharpie marks??? They make an incredible difference!Divided Attention wrote: I put about 70 rounds through it on Saturday, and Sunday had an awesome time with Compvest and 4 other ladies doing some shooting drills. Thanks to my new "perfect grip" (I may be redoing my sharpie marks all week so they are there for my CHL test) I was getting some pretty nice groupings and am very excited! Thanks Compvest!

But of course! Blue Bell's Homemade Vanilla usually, occasionally cinnamon when I go for home-made.Keith B wrote:Welcome to the forum YankeeGirl, and save a piece of that avatar for me; ala mode with Blue Bell please. LOL
I have some pictures of Mount Nittany (central PA) that almost look CG, there are so many colors of green. I sure didn't appreciate it enough when I lived there.

Re: Introduce yourself
I don't think so, unless I've got my districts wrong. (I think) 24 is Galveston County, I live in the northern tip of the county.seamusTX wrote:Welcome to the forum, Yankee Girl.
I'm having a mental disconnect. Texas House District 24 is in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area, is it not?

Re: Introduce yourself
Somewhat farther south, yes. I live across the street and down about a mile from PSC - were it not for crossing a 55 mph FM road, I'd walk to the range.longtooth wrote:If you took Charles class you are probably way too far South. But, Angelina Rifle & Pistol club is very family & lady friendly.
North of Lufkin area on 69.

Hi!
53
Female
Chemical engineer by training, but I've been in environmental management for 25+ years
Married, two sons (one 23, one 16), no grandkids yet thank goodness
Don't have my CHL yet, took the class 8/7/10 (Thank You Charles, it was great!)
TSR House District 24
Carry guns - not sure yet, qualified with a Sig P250 in 9 mm but haven't decided for sure what to carry
Native Pennsylvanian, lived here longer than in PA but my heart's still in those wooded hills and clear streams
First picked up a gun last November, bought my first this past March (the Sig) - still have much to learn and looking for a family-friendly place to do so.
