This will be my first competition and I'm quite excited!

Someone mentioned to me that most targets are 15 yds or further? Is that correct? I've only ever hit the range shooting 7yd so this may be tricky!

I called them yesterday and according to them mine is still "processing". They also mentioned it wont show up in their system online for a couple weeks. Interesting note is that they said there is an issue with the website thats being worked on right now. Maybe why most of us havent been a...

Cruel world!!! I got home late today around 10ish and head straight to the mailbox. I open it and see circulars... I reach in and grab it and note envelopes at the bottom.... something hard! something card like! Could it be?! .... No... its one of those credit card applications with those fake cards...

How are you guys that mailed in the application accessing the site?

I submitted 2 weeks before my birthday... I hope I didnt end up shorting myself a whole year.

So my question to you guys... can I get by without the gun belt and get it later? I'm assuming yes. The gun I want is only 26 oz so hopefully not too heavy for my regular belts

What makes a gun belt different than a regular belt? I haven't started carrying yet and was looking to purchase a crossbreed IWB holster... But now I'm wondering do I need new belts as well?

I have to thank you for posting this thread because it has been quite informative! I agree with what most have said and had to reread the "at the ready" comment. As others have pointed out a jury wouldn't be siding with you when the prosecution quickly paints the picture of you escalating ...

I'm a November as well.

I took the class in Sept.

Dropped off the paperwork on 11/15.

As of today still nothing in the system. Here's hoping there are no whammies.

I thought I saw a few in Pflugerville and Round Rock? It may have been posted in a different forum, because I cant find them in this one.

Anyone got one? :)
