My husband is still in the June room, although his was supposedly mailed on Wednesday. If he gets it today, he'll be close to 70 days. I've had my plastic in hand for 3 weeks. I need to check on the other 3 who took the class at the same time we did.

Mr. Shasta's application was updated this morning. He was pending both fingerprints and BGC yesterday evening, and now he's cleared both and shows Manufacturing Pending. Looks like his total will be about 60-65 days

I just found out that the 2nd of our group of 6 got hers yesterday, 45 days after she mailed.
That's 2/2 of the women and 0/4 of the men I took the class with.
My brother in law insists that women get theirs faster than men. My sister got hers over 3 weeks faster than my BIL, and theirs were sent in at the same time. I sent mine in the same envelope with Mr. Shasta, I've had my plastic in hand since Friday the 13th, he is still pending both fingerprints and BGC.
That's 2/2 of the women and 0/4 of the men I took the class with.

Plastic in hand! 47 days from mailed to plastic in hand.
Meanwhile, Mr. Shasta, along with at least 2 of the other 4 I took my class with are still both fingerprint and BGC pending. I'm fairly certain I'm the first of the 6 to have plastic in hand.

Six of us took our class together on June 26, and we all sent our packets off either Saturday or Monday. Thus far, I am the only "manufacturing pending" The other 5 are in various stages. None of us have had any items rejected. If I receive mine by next Friday, it will be right at 40-45 days from date received at DPS to plastic in hand.i8godzilla wrote:Who is still remaining in 'June Room'?

My fingerprints cleared on 7/27 and my background check cleared today, so I'm "Manufacturing Pending"
MY husband, OTOH, has the same date received by the DPS and his status hasn't changed since the day we first got on the website.

Oh no! That's one I've never heard of. I'm assuming you've lived in TX awhile and she's gone through at least one renewal? Seems that they would have caught it then.xperthunter wrote:
Shasta i understand the feeling. My packet was recieved the same day as yours, and i have the same status. On another note, my wifes was recieved the same day, and the state says she doesnt exist, and i dont just mean on the site, TXDPS cannot find her DL #. Their working to fix that...hahah!
