Just check out my timeline. I have seen people who just took the class on the 17th of July get through background and manufacturing before me. So i am really upset about my status. WHY ME! WHY ME! LOL!!! Still no update even though people background check has been cleared before mines and they mailed theirs 2 weeks after me. I need to speak to the boss down there and take their job. There is no consistency on getting CHL's out!

On another note: Wife still is not in the system. its 30+ days since mailed in. When emailed, they reply with a generic email about her changing her last name a year ago, and it affecting their online system, but the application still being processed.
We'll see. She'll probably get hers before mine!

I am still waiting on my background check and they received it on June 29th. So its almost been a month now. Hopefully It will be completed sometime this week or early next week. My birthday is Wed so I'm waiting to check then, maybe I will get it as a birthday present.Xaved wrote:How long does it take for it to go through the background check? 7/10/2010 - submitted application online, mailed packet same day
7/13/2010 - online status changed to application received
7/19/2010 - everything was marked as received, fingerprints and background check under review.
