Well we all need to pick our own battles, everyone has to make their choices. I decided to boycott the San Antonio Riverwalk after going there a couple times every year for over 10 years. Maybe its easier because there are other places to go for a weekend trip.matchstick wrote:So's Great Britain. There is no guarantee of free speech there either. Great Britain's also anti-handgun.
Does that mean we hate them?
I like Google services. They provide the free engine that powers my blog, the best read agrigator free, The best most innovative webmail. and oh yeah the absolute best search engine(which drives 80% of my traffic to my website) even though I advocate destroying extremist muslim terrorist, discuss guns occassionally, and even use the 3 letter word for donkey.
I don't think I've ever clicked on one of their ads and I don't subscribe to their ad services at all.
I think Google is a good deal They give me free stuff that I like a lot. They get to present me with some ads that I hardly even notice.
I was paying big bucks to stay at a Hotel, a member of the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, to spend money and time at establishments that were also members. The San Antonio Chamber of Commerce actively fought (and won) against folks being able to protect themselves. Boycotting San Antonio isn't at all painful for me, so it was easy. Giving up Google would be more painful for me than them.
