Hi Bat,
Congradulations, on your class. I am also an Estap alumni. Tom runs one of the the most informative and interesting classes in the state. The 10 + hours we spend with him is barely enough to scratch the surface. Tom's Job as CHL instructor is primarily to communicate the information the state of Texas requires. Charles' class is about deadly force and self defence law, not only about the law itself but how it realistically applies. He debunks a lot of so called conventional wisdom. Most of us leave his seminar amazed about things we thought we knew.

Charles lectures from a unique position, he is responsible for actually writing much CHL self defense deadly force laws over the last several years. He is the expert. But he actually presents some complex legal principles in such a way that even this thick headed Yankee was able to understand and hang onto.
