I don't get it. If your doors are locked like they should be little kids can't reach in a grab anything. I see no need to do anything in this scenario but drive away. If the kids block your path, call the police. I don't perceive any real threat in this situation unless one or more adults is exploiting the action of the children to forceably enter your vehicle. Getting out of the car is downright stupid. Displaying a gun is likely to get you charged with something, and shooting a child who isn't pointing a gun at you is going to get you prison time. I'm not sure I could even shoot a seven year old if he was pointing a gun at me.
