Re: Tucker Gun Leather Customer Service

This does point out that communication by texting, email and forum posts often lead to misunderstandings and upset.

Next time I get an inquiry like yours I'll make sure we talk on the phone.

Re: Tucker Gun Leather Customer Service

I was puzzled about this comment at first, then I recalled an email from the 6th. The customer asked about stamping and then asked "Also, can a custom design be put on those products? I am really wanting a POW*MIA setup . I am wanting the POW*MIA emblem on the belt attachment of the HF1 with ei...

Tucker is making holsters for the PT1911AR

Taurus PT1911AR owners have had a hard time finding holsters for the PT1911AR , so Tucker has geared up to make every one of our holsters available for this pistol. The leather-lined kydex Silent Thunder is now available for the PT1911AR as a belt holster, a Level II belt holster and an IWB. Silent ...

You don't have to buy Tucker's belt and mag pouch. For belts, folks here have recommended http://www.thebeltman.net. Save Tucker's belt and mag pouch for when you order one of his fabulous HF1 rigs. The Beltman makes our "Bullhide" belts which we recommend for IWB use. They're priced righ...

Buried Carry

I see people wearing IWB with the gun buried in their pants with the trigger guard way below the belt line and the grip barely accessible. I have people who request a low ride height like that with one of Tucker’s IWB holsters and strongly recommend against it. It can get you killed. It’s slow a...

Alabama reciprocity with TX

Both Packing.org and Handgunlaw.us show that there is still no reciprocity with Alabama, yet the State of Alabama website shows there is. Posts on this forum say there is reciprocity as well. Anyone know why the conflict in information? I'm travelling through Alabama to Georgia tomorrow and would li...

Re: Cavalry Draw - Would you have given him what he wants?

Apology accepted. So am I to assume you won't consider it?
Well, no.
If you are asking for a LH S.O.B. holster for a RH shooter I read a long series of recent posts on this forum that has convinced me to decline such orders.

I do appreciate your thinking of Tucker Gunleather.

Re: Cavalry Draw - Would you have given him what he wants?

I really didn't want to say no, but I turned down a holster order the other day. He was a nice guy and I probably made him mad. Would you have given him what he wanted even if you thought it wasn't safe? Here are the details. I'd like to hear your opinions. http://www.tuckergunleatherblog.com/2006/...

I think it will get you on Sarah Brady's christmas card list. There are lots of folks out there that are positive they "know better". and making a public deal out of this will likely lose you business, in the long run. What kind of background checks are you going to institute to be sure a...
