Re: June 2010 applications

@cableguy - Please turn off the lights and lock the door on your way out............... Looks like you are the last one left in the June crowd.

Congratulations!

I'm going to go on my wallywalk in a few minutes! Thanks to all for putting up with my impatience through this ordeal! I wanted to have my CHL before I went on vacation this year in early august, but it wasn't meant to be. At least I have it for this coming Labor Day Weekend!
I'll post my wallywalk later today. Wish me luck! :thewave
Congrads! My wife also received hers today! We both sent in the application at the same time(Jun 16). I received mine 30 days ago.

Are the many left in the June Room?

I recieved mine before my wife. We took the course, and mailed in, were recieved on the same day. She was mfg pending the day i recieved mine.
My wife and I took the class at the same time and our packets were both received the same day (June 16). I received my Plastic on Aug 2. She just went Manufacture Pending on Friday.

Re: June 2010 applications

Who is still remaining in 'June Room'?

I received my plastic, however, my wife has not. The web still shows that there is documentation missing, passport holder, and BC. She called today and they confirmed that they have the missing documentation--the web still shows it missing. Can't even guess what the deal is with the BC. Like I said before our applications were identical with regards to employment and addresses. You would think both applications would process at the same rate. Then again........................

Getting closer. :anamatedbanana

It took right at 10 days from Manufacturing Pending to receiving my Plastic. It seemed like a really long wait.

Re: June 2010 applications

14 Jun - Mailed
15 Jun - Application Received
01 Jul - Information available online
06 Jul - Received Letter from DPS asking for a cleaner copy of my DD214
16 Jul - DPS Received DD214
23 Jul - BC and all other items 'cleared' and Manufacturing Pending (all on the same day)
29 Jul - Status changed to mailed
30 Jul - Received letter from DPS (dated 26 Jul) that they had just received my CHL Application
02 Aug - Plastic Received

My wife's is very much the same. She also needed to submit a better copy of her DD214. Both of our DD214s were received at the same time. Her finger prints were changed to Complete on 08 July. Her current status: Passport Holder, Special Documentation (DD214), and background check are still listed as Under Review.

Re: June 2010 applications

Seems there is no rhyme or reason to the way they process applications. Wife and I submitted everything at the same time. Other than names and SSNs our applications are identical--same addresses both self-employed by our own company, both vets, etc... My status is Mailed, her status indicates they are still waiting on background check. :headscratch :headscratch

Mailed Packet(s)* to DPS: 14 June
Received at DPS: 15 June
First Day Information Available on-line: 1 July (We have checked every day!)

*Sent separate packets for self and wife.

There is a 'note' on both of our web-status pages that the "Special Conditions Documentation" was unacceptable. I can only assume that the copies of our DD214s were not clearly legible. Have to wait until I get the notification in the mail.
Sent clean copy of DD214 Jul 16th (received Jul 17th).
Status today: Concealed Handgun License : Manufacturing Pending

So close, but yet so far away.............................

(My wife's status has not changed. Hopefully, it will not be too far behind.)
Status Today: Mailed

Assuming that it comes in Monday's mail, that will be 49 Days.

(My wife's status has still not changed. Hopefully, it will not be too far behind.)
