I was also 10 years old, in class... in Dallas.

After the announcement over the PA system, the teacher brought in one of the Audio-Visual TVs on a stand and we spent the rest of the day watching the news.

It was an emotional day. I remember feeling:

Sad that the President was dead.
Mad at Oswald.
Ashamed that I lived in Dallas, where it happened.
