Wilson makes a 7 rounder that works in the Ultra - I have a couple. Only the base pad protrudes.
The Kimber standard 7-rounder has no base pad. Their Tac-mags come with two base pads, but you don't have to use either one.

I keep the standard in the pistol, but my spare mags are the Tac-mags with the small base pad for more positive reloads.
