robert_d_niro Their posts said that if guns were illegal in our country, we'd have a lower crime rate. You might point out that in Washington, DC all firearms are illegal and they have one of the highest crime rates and murder rates in the country. I doubt this will change anyone's opinion, but I'd...

Trying to defend myself from the Anti's....
Man oh man what a day. I was posting in another forum today (Playstation) and a discussion about crime in the US and Canada came up. What ensued was a complete disreguard for the facts and some slamming of CHLs. Check it out: http://boardsus.playstation.com/playstation/board/message?board.id=offtopi...

Re: Belly band
I'm relatively new to concealed carry, but I have always been on the lookout for the perfect concealment rig. Guess what? I haven't found it yet. The closest I've come to a holster that meets most of my criteria for concealment is the Belly-Band by DeSantis ( http://www.desantisholster.com/060.html...

As a moderate liberal (pro-gun, obviously, pro-life, anti-big business, VERY anti-George Bush) I can't really see any good coming from any of these candidates. Also, I don't know if any of you remember that whole debacle with the hurricane Katrina refugees, but Perry demanded that New Orleans compen...

New CHL member needs help!!
Hey guys-let me say in advance I appreciate the help that I get here. You are all very supportive. Moving on to my issue here, I got my CHL in the mail last Thursday, and I have been carrying at various non-30.06/51% locations. My problem is that I am having trouble finding a comfortable way to carr...

Re: One left in the Mag.
Took the new Kimber to the range last night, all I can say is WOW! It is one fine shooting pistola! I read in the book it will take 500 rounds to break in so I ran 100 through it last night BUT one time it did leave a round in the magizine, someone else mention theirs did that. Will that pass as I ...

Scenario number two: Stopping at a gas station after dark, you get out of your car to fill the tank at a self-serve pump. You have your wallet out, and because we now have open carry—you’re gun is at 3 o’clock—clearly visible. Bad guys come out of the dark from around the corner of the “S...

Re: Good Job!
Good for him! I'd like to have seen the dog owner's face when Fido caught some lead. I know the dog was just doing what he was trained to do, and in this case he's a victim. That's a shame. Did your friend have to talk to the police afterwards? Not sure on that. He's a paramedic and while he was on...
