Re: Restaurant Scenario

Leave, and next time use a napkin and not expose the gun I am supposed to be hiding.

Re: Gun for liberals

Not to start anything here, but I’m a democrat and happen to think that “…the great one…” is doing a fair job given the mess he inherited from the far rights “great one”. So, suggesting that you shoot yourself because of a party affiliation doest fall under personal attacks (that Chas recently noted...

Re: CHL holder killed by police in Las Vegas at a Costco

Apparently, Scott knew the store employees were alarmed by seeing his carry weapon. Was it worth it for him to "win" an argument with a store employee over his right to carry legally? Was it wise to allow such a situation to escalate to the point that it caused store employees to evacuate...

Re: CHL holder killed by police in Las Vegas at a Costco

To quote the great K, "People are dumb, panicky dangerous animals and you know it" Not assigning blame in any direction. True it is a "right" to carry, but you have to think 5 steps ahead of everyone, that includes police. The sillyist comment I have ever heard from someone is &q...

Re: Are all indoor gun ranges hot?

I have been told that the air conditioners have trouble keeping up with the exhaust fans. I suppose I would rather be hot that huff lead and smoke for several hours during a practice. It seemed to make sense to me.

Glock Haters?

I have run into a few folks that think the Glock pistols are junk. I myself happen to be a big fan, and believe them to be extremely reliable, accurate, tough, and just as/ if not more so "safe" than other guns on the market. While I am sure its just ignorance from the critics. Does anyone...

Re: On Fox 9pm news

"...untruth...", you mean Fox news twisted some information to support their own agenda? No...I dont believe it. I thought Jesus himself owned Fox news, I'm going to send him an e-mail and complain.

Re: Showed my CHL for the first time...

You may check with your insurance company first. Many of them are getting wise to the backwards idea of discounting ones insurance for getting a speeding ticket (given thats really the only reason someone would take a defensive driving class). Its a good idea to take it to keep the ticket off your r...

Re: How full do you load your weapons?

Hmmm... Thats about what I would expect from an Aggie. I'm guessing this is some kind of joke...so I'll play along. ...Yea...why carry more than 3 because more than three would be to expensive, just think you could put the money you saved into your 401K, or you could give it to Jesus, after all we k...

Re: League City: Armed robbery at Wal-Mart

At any given time I would think there is 50-100 Wally Walkers in a Wal-Mart, I am suprised the headline didnt read: "Would be robber found in parking lot blown to a pile hamburger and cheep jewelry by group of Wally Walkers" The Hawaiian shirt secret service is going to have to step it up ...

Re: To chamber or not to chamber

Looks like a Glock knock off.

I would carry one with a round in it, and if you blow a new hole in yourself somewhere, your friends will call you Plaxico "rlol"
Best of luck in your new armed endeavors.

Re: Seattle: Officer Punches woman, caught on tape.

These situations irritate me. 1. The general public has no idea how difficult it is to arrest someone who doesn’t want to be arrested. 2. When you break a law you have subjected yourself to detention. 3. The media has gotten laughably irresponsible when it comes to subjecting people to public scruti...

Re: Idea for discussion topics

Manfred: By the way, posting any kind of thread is kind of a hit or miss game. Sometimes I post something that I think will have only passing interest, but the board runs with it and gathers many comments. But on the other hand, I posted the Jacksonville, Florida LEO's gunfight to the death with a ...
