I looked at one at the last Houston show at GRB.

I looks good, has a lot of the custom features you usually pay extra for and although I haven't shot with the Heine "Straight 8" sights, they look pretty fast. You also get a beavertail grip safety with a "speed pad", forward cocking serrations and ambidextrous thumb safeties and a full length guide rod, along with the usual relieved ejection port and throated and polished barrel and feed ramp.

And yes it will take Wilson mags and the rest of "Mil Spec" parts.

For under 500.00 bucks, I'd be looking at it pretty hard to take to the range if I hadn't already picked up my Springfield Custom Loaded. (btw:over 9000 rounds through it since last Nov and doing great).

And, since Beretta built the Taurus factory in Brazil "way back when" I wouldn't worry about the quality as long as you realize you get what you pay for.

If I were in the market, I'd pick one up for the range and burn A LOT of ammo through it and then decide if it rated night stand or carry duty.
