This is exactly right and there are many more of us who have the training, skills and abilities that was provided by Uncle Sam out there. I might be getting too old and broken up to provide an active offense, but I sure can be a part of the patriot's logistics tail, no matter how old I get.K.Mooneyham wrote:I'm pretty sure that's why this mess ticks me off so much...those 20 years...including a lot of time gone from my family, all in the name of accomplishing "the mission" and protecting the nation. Based on what I saw during previous bans and current Federal laws, I would be surpised if more than 2 or 3 percent of average Americans defied a new ban. The number will probably be close to 100% in some groups, like gang members and people who can't own guns at all. In for a penny, in for a pound, for them.
But the average American with a 9-5 job and a mortgage and family? They may talk a good game.
If you don't think I'll willingly spend the rest of my life protecting it from domestic enemies, you're sadly mistaken.
