Re: Am I the only one who prefers mil-spec AR mags?

My Rifle is a TEOTWAWKI Rifle. So I got Mags that should last until then, and maybe afterwords. Pmags :thumbs2: Also, I have this really annoying habit to 'go big or go home' or 'why buy mediocre when you can get the best' attitude towards everything. My first handgun that I bought myself was a $12...

+1 on the C-Products SS mags. I use mil-spec also. No problems with either, but I never ran them over with my truck (accidentally or on purpose  ).

10-ring moved`around the end if last year in the same general area. They are in a bigger space and things are much better organized now. They also sell guns and provide FFL services. Nice people and pretty good prices.

Re: When Will the TX CHL Restrictions End???

Campus carry would be great, but I bet that there a much large number of people, such as myself, employed by large corporations that cannot carry on any work day without risking our livelihood and that of our families. This is because we cannot store our legal firearms on company property while at w...

Re: Speer Gold Dot LE duty ammo

If you do decide to buy online, I have used these guys before. $25/box in lots of 10 boxes (500 rounds) including shipping. When I bought about 18 months ago it was $19/box shipped in lots of 10! A bit of a hassle in that they want proof of age (probably a NY state thing) and only take cashier's che...

Re: Favorite .223 loads

WW748 for bullets 55-70gr. I've heard Varget works well also, but I haven't tried it yet. Varget is one of the powders I'm interested in. The Lyman manual lists it as the powder of their accuracy loads for 55, 69, and 75 grain bullets, so it may be the right choice to go with. Additionally, it's al...

Re: Bill White and the Democrats

Thank each of you for your advise, opinions. this year for me is a dificult choise. I admit I do not like Perry for numerous reasons. That is why I am trying to get information that will help me select the lesser of two evils. It seems too often that our political parties leave us in this position ...

Re: Looking for FFL in NW Houston/Cypress Area

I've used Spectre Firearms on Spring-Cypress Road just east of TX249. They are in little strip center just east of Valley Ranch BBQ. Last time that I used them the fee was $35. A friendly bunch of ex-mil guys with a great little shop. (FYI, I do not have any ownership interest, just a customer.)

Re: Gun Shopping Update with Question

If you've bonded with your USP (as I have mine), but need something a little smaller, how about a P-30? I have one of those and like it even better than the USP. With the various S, M, and L side panels and backstraps,it is probably one of the most ergonomic designs and can be made to fit most any h...
