Trump wins his third election for President.

I am still surprised at the number of Americans who voted for what I think was the worst candidate for President ever.
I know many left leaning people who cast a ballot for Harris that have said they were not voting FOR Harris, they were voting AGAINST Trump. I suspect that was alot of 2020 as well.
:iagree: And now the question is why? IMHO, it is because they bought into the same propaganda line that has allowed the Democratic Party to maintain the leadership in most major U.S. cities for more than a half a century, run them into the ground and never have accountability for the results. The real basis for that propaganda is fear. You will obey. The tyranny of that message has spread from the inner cities. How many people were afraid to wear a MAGA hat? That is not about Trump but about the fear of displaying an opposing opinion. Unless and until we figure that out as the American citizenry, we are always going to be one step way from becoming the Gulags.

I just don't think DJT is electable. Between the MSM and the amount of hatred leftists have for him, I feel he will bring out leftists in droves to vote against him. These loons would vote for a banana to keep Trump out. One huge issue that worries me is the amount of "younger" voters who are all brainwashed by the leftist education system, MSM and complete group think. If we can't stop the mass mail in voting and ballot harvesting, Dems will steal another election in 2024.
:iagree:
For me, the Arizona governor's race was proof that DJT's voter drawing power was not big enough to overcome the mail in ballot/Trump hate voter problem. The Left hate of Trump is visceral and it extends energetically to the lowest of their useful idiots. An example.

I worked with a woman for five years. She and I got along great. My wife and I stayed at her house a couple of times during trips that we were taking through her area. Along comes Trump and she goes off the rails. She ate, slept and breathed Trump hate. It turns out that she was a flaming Florida Liberal but I never knew it. I do not believe that she is alone. I think she would be a Kamikaze pilot ff she knew Trump was on a ship that she was flying over. The worst part is that she was on a mission to punish everyone who dared to mention his name. I ended up ex-communicating her completely. I was not willing to live with a mentally rabid dog and that is what she had become. She and her ilk are one of the reasons that the younger voters are being brainwashed. Not that her children weren't already on the the wrong side of equation to begin with.

Prepare for the poop circus.
He will win the primary and be the nominee. You heard it here first. :clapping:
I'll take that bet. I'll go further. He will loose several of the early primary States. He is fighting the Never Trump Republicans and they are prepared this time. He will not be as successful with his heavy handed strategy against DeSantis as he was against Rubio and Cruz. It is a different place and a different time.

I'm continually amazed at how some of these folks can connect dots when I see no such connections. To wit:
1. She just lost an election (badly) to people who know her well. She supposedly has represented them.
2. A logical question is: are people who don't know her as well going to be more inclined to vote for her?
3. She tried to get Democrats to cross over to the Republican primary to vote for her and that obviously did not work out well for her.
4. If she could not garner enough Democratic crossover votes in the State she is supposed to represent, what is her appeal to Democrats in other States? It is not as though she as a stellar record of supporting Democratic causes before this and her family credentials before she tried to take on Trump were pretty much loathed by Democrats. I suspect that some of them still loath she and her father. What is going to change that.
5. Assuming that the Republicans gain full power of the Legislature, the January 6th stuff is going to lose any power that it currently has and may turn out to be more of liability than an asset in 2024. The dirty secrets of the FBI involvement and the deliberate negation of calling up the National Guard could be exposed. Even the media cannot spin that enough to make it good. Since being on this "commission" is her one current claim to fame, to what will she pivot when that is no longer useful?.
6. She has the charisma of a alley cat. Even the Democats don't try to get something like that elected. What is going to change and make her more liable before 2024?

Re: Today in Trump's new term as President

Staying with the DeVos theme, there may be more to her opposition than just education policy. They say that satire can sometimes go where normal conversation does not. We have to remember that there are a lot of frustrated anti-gun forces out there who are really feeling more stifled than others.
