Sold ...............S&W Model 37 DFW under $300 Mesquite

Sold FS FTF in the Mesquite area. TX CHL forum prices. $290 or $280 with a valid TX CHL. MUST have TX DL or a CHL. I will not risk selling to someone from another state (I have had that before). This is a Smith & Wesson model 37 5 shot 38 special. It is the alloy frame version of the popular mod...

Re: Taurus "View" - It's a unique see-through M85 revolver.

Ruger just came out with an LCR (Lightweight Compact Revolver) in 9MM. I know, and they kept it in the same size (while weighing 0.10oz more than the 357mag version). With a much shorter OAL, a 9mm revolver can be smaller. It would require a different frame, and then different holsters (which holst...

Re: Is a Texas ID card enough to buy a gun?

Looks like you would be required to do a transfer at a FFL. 18 USC § 922(a) It shall be unlawful— (5) for any person (other than a licensed importer, licensed manufacturer, licensed dealer, or licensed collector) to transfer, sell, trade, give, transport, or deliver any firearm to any person (other ...

Bump....

The stubby ejector rod might be an issue. If they made it a true 9mm size gun (shorter frame and cylinder with moon clips) they could really make it small. Sure would have to be non +P though.

Re: Is a Texas ID card enough to buy a gun?

He said he lived here but was going to school in AZ. So I'm not even sure if his TX ID was expired or current? I told him if he got his TX DL we can deal, otherwise I can't. It's also why I rarely drive more than 5 miles to sell something. I'm not wasting time and gas money on someone who might flak...

....and in my original as, I even said that a Texas CHL was a requirement.

His reply = An AZ CHL is good in TX

Me = Not for this

Is a Texas ID card enough to buy a gun?

Tried to do a handgun FTF sale from another website. Guy whips out an AZ DL and CHL (didn't even look at it, saw AZ and I didn't care after that). He said he had a TX ID card at home, and we can try again later (if he can find it). I'm all for freedom, think we should be able to buy and sell across ...

Fusion Tactical Range in Forney Have you been there?

Has anyone been to Fusion gun range south of Forney (Kaufman County) Forney is halfway between home and work so it would be an easy stop. I've been looking for a place to shoot outside and actually do some practicing (not shooting one round every few seconds or other nonsense). http://www.fusiongunr...

I was sent to buy crayons that were on sale (when you are married to a 2nd teacher, you just go a long with it). I'll try to stop by an...
