I think that is the last thing on their mind, right now. Look at their current laws, They just passed the CCW legislation, but their are so many restrictions that its hardly even considered as being a CCW state! There are endless restrictions on where carry is allowed, plus municipalities can restrict carry. They have to mature in their laws before they can reciprocate. It's a battle of the government officials vs the legislature. Not the citizens.StingRay wrote: I understand that. But, if Texas give reciprocity so easily. There is no incentive for Nebraska to give reciprocity for Texas citizens. My thought is then the citizens of Nebraska would be more likely to lobby for us if it gets them something. As it stands, a Nebraska citizen, if approached for support, could just say "What do I care, I can carry in Texas so it doesn't matter to me if a Texas citizen can carry here."
Besides, Nebraska laws are currently MORE restrictive than Texas so it's an easy allowance, once NE gets to or near the level of Texas then we will see reciprocity.
