I haven't had any problems finding .40, haven't really looked that much for 12ga (although it seems to be everywhere when I am looking), but I'm having a really difficult time finding .223, especially in HP or SP since you can't shoot FMJ at most of the ranges around the DFW metromess. Went to Cheaper than Dirt in McKinney yesterday and they only had a couple of bulk packs of .223 and none were HP.

I bought as much as I could afford at the WalMart in Lewisville yesterday and there was plenty left when I left. Of course, I could only afford to buy 2 boxes each of .40 and 9mm. :) Seems like this stuff is becoming more plentiful finally.

I was at 7 different WM's and 1 Academy last night looking for the Federal 9mm ($9.47/box 50) and only ended up with 1 box of WWB ($23.98/box 100). I planned on really breaking in my new S&W M&P 9c today, but it looks like I'm only going to be able to warm it up.
