Things must have changed since I got out (1966). When I got my DD-214 the entire document consisted of one page and "Honorable Discharge" was on that one page.WeyaH wrote:Suthdj:
I JUST got off the phone with the folks in Austin (1-800-224-5744). The pleasant young lady I spoke to said that the copy of the DD-214 does NOT...I repeat NOT need to be certified, BUT you must make sure it is a copy of the entire document, and it MUST say "Honorable Discharge".
From that I can safely conclude that you needn't start crying yet.
