The 1911 is handgun nirvana for me. The feel of it in my hand is so natural, so familiar and comfortable, it’s as though it has become part of me.
You don’t have to spend a fortune to get a quality 1911, and you can “pimp it out” to your taste over time. The only drawback to owning one is that it’s hard to stop at owning just one.
