You could ask for permission from the manager first...seamusTX wrote:Maybe.kauboy wrote:But technically, without permission, wouldn't this be vandalism?I think an imaginative police officer could bust you for trespass or terroristic threats.§ 28.03. This has a ring of truth to it, any gun free zone now-a-day is an invitation to become a haven for criminals. CHL'ers and non-CHL'ers need to recognize this fact and become aware that the CHL'ers are the good guy's and not the criminals!O6nop wrote: <snip>
Why would we all think that only CHL's would turn away from a business posting a 30.06 sign? Lately, there has been a lot of press about "Gun Free Zones" and even non carry citizens are becoming aware of the danger of these. Passing on the word to non CHLs what a 30.06 sign means, may be enough to persuade people that it is a more dangerous place to eat than a "Illegal guns prohibited" sign. Educate your non-CHL friends what these signs mean and it could make a difference.
I currently eat at Taco Cabana because one is right next door to my present employer and they give us a 10% discount. I can walk 30 yards get my food to go and I'm back at my desk within 10 minutes.O6nop wrote: I don't eat at Taco Cabanas because I can live without it, and they have 30.06 signs.
When I leave this job on May 9th to go to work for the DPS then I most likely will not ever step foot into one ever again.
