Gunsmith to Build .338 Lapua

I'm looking for a gunsmith in the Houston area to build a suppressed .338 Lapua from scratch. I intend for it to only be used for benchrest shooting and will supply the suppressor. The problem that I have is that I rotate between Houston and Trinidad for work. The gunsmith needs to have experience i...

Re: Carry in Texas Renaissance Festival

Thanks for the replies. I didn't expect there to be any issues with open carry of it as it's not classified as a firearm, but wanted to make sure that I wouldn't get to talk to the nearest police officer. Isn't the state fair considered a "sporting event"

When I took my CHL class, I was told that it was illegal to carry in a sporting event. I would consider the state fair to be a sporting event and is therefore illegal to carry there. :rules:

It is for this exact reason that I didn't carry when I was there Saturday.

Possible location between Waller and Tomball

There is a building located on the corner of 2920 and Kickapoo Rd that has been for sale for over a year. The guy that owns it sold me a building in 2008 for almost half what he was originally asking. I don't know the price, but I don't expect it to be out of the question.
