My fathers rem 1100 had the same problem. I took it completely apart and cleaned it VERY well and still nothing. He had to take it to a gunsmith to figure it out. I don't know what the solution was, but now it's 100%. I wanna say it had something to do with an internal spring. I hope you get it back up and going again soon. :tiphat:
