You got to be willing to walk away. Not pretending to walk away but actually do it. That's the first step.
SO taken under advisement, though, I do, every single time I stop in the Action Pawn in Killeen, and Cove.. As I refuse to pay TOP dollar for a used gun at a business that is not more capable of supporting the after sale then walmart. I’d prefer to buy at that kind of used $$ from a privet seller.

I guess I need to try coming in every other day for aw a week, walking each time I do not get counter offered a reasonable price. Vice the once every other month opportunity I give them to make a sale. Quite honestly, if I would be offered even average deals, I’d likely walk away with a gun most every time.

I've seen a nice 870 (less than 1 year old) go for less than 200 OTD (I was the "knowledgeable" guy). I would with him, inspect the gun, and get them to come off the sticker some if they are willing.
I have to move to wherever you guys are! I have never seen an 870 in a pawnshop, and never have seen any pump 12 gauge at a pawnshop for under $250!
This, and the other Big NO GO Pawn shop post above.. Might just be the areas I live in (within 50 miles of a Army base) but in 2 dozen years, I have never found a deal at a pawn shop for a firearm.
