I went down there this morning. Found a new bit of info on the disarming portion. Though I will still say that disarming folks in the GRB is not something they should legally be able to do, I went and disarmed. I dropped in a couple rounds of 38 special target ammo into the LCR and thought I'd just lose that when I got there. But the officer had cups there and he put the ammo in the cups and gave me a ticket to get it when I got done. Said its a long way to the car, don't want you to go away unarmed.

When it was time to leave, I presented him with my ticket and got my ammo back, cut the tie wrap, reloaded the pistol and left through the entrance doors (instead of the exit) and was on my way armed...as I should be.

I bought way too much little goofy stuff today but I was happy to get a chance to go again. I have also settled on a Colt Lightweight Defender in 45 as my next gun purchase :-).
