A hand gun locked in your car will not be much help if a crazed gunman enters the building and takes hostages as in the recent Discovery Channel incident. I’m not saying you should break the rules but as others have mentioned times are hard and a growing number of people are losing everything they have. I believe you will see more people coming unhinged along with fewer cops on the streets. Unless there is a 30.06 sign or I am traveling to a state that does not recognize my CHL I carry all the time. I would rather risk my job then my life. Besides the boss would have to give me a hug in order to detect my handgun and that is highly unlikely.
