Re: Having gun in work parking lot?
The OP has no recourse but to comply with the employer demands if he wants to keep his job. Mr. Cotton has a good write up here ( https://www.texasfirearmscoalition.com/index.php/frontpage-articles/63-employer-parking-lots-fix-the-potholes ) which details that the law has no teeth. Mr. Cotton states...

Re: Ambidextrous AR Charging Handle: Opinions
I am left handed with everyone else in the family right handed. It is a must for me to have the ambi items such as the safety and charging handle. I have tried a lot of the ambi charging handles and the two that I like best are the BCM A44 and the Rainier Arms Raptor. The Raptor is my favorite with ...

Re: Employer Parking Lots question
Not really sure but I think it might just be random as they have done it in the past but I haven't heard that they ever found anything until now with the handgun. There are several lots and they all were gone through with the dog.

Re: Employer Parking Lots question
I don't want to hijack this thread but I have another question regarding employer parking lots. I went through six pages of search items but did not find the answer so I figured I would ask. We had an incident where the employer brought dogs in to sniff vehicles in the parking lot for drugs and fir...

Re: Should I be upset???
If in fact there is no gun policy or a pro gun policy at this business, then I would have never told BIL in the first place. I don't think he has a right to know if the previous is true. But that helps little at this point in the game. Yes, I would be upset but there is really nothing you can do at ...

Re: Smith & Wesson M&P15-22 .22 LR
Great little plinker. The whole family has fun with this gun. I took the iron sights off, put on Magpul MBUS sights along with a cheap sightmark reflex sight and she's good to go. Alot of fun. I dont think I would do anything else to ours. HAVE FUN! Can I assume you mounted the Magpul MBUS sights t...

Re: Shooting Skeet
My wife wanted to start shooting skeet and sporting clays with me years ago so I got her a 20 ga Remington 1100 youth model (shorter stock for shorter person 5'2") to start with. She shot this gun for about 6 months until she decided all on her own that she wanted to move up to a 12 ga. She dec...

I am just entering the black gun arena. I realize this ammo is not premium but is it ok to use steel case.

Re: New (to me) M&P15-22
Great gun. We have had ours for a little while now and the whole family has a blast with this one. Probably have a couple thousand through ours. You certainly didn't go wrong with this one. You will enjoy. Have fun!
