I know what you mean. Noobs pretending they're experts are annoying to the people who do know the law, but they can be dangerous to those who don't know the law and get bad advice from the wanna be expert.
Back on topic, I didn't get mine the year the law went into effect, but I got mine the first year it was available to me.
I've only had mine for 3+ years, but have been on this forum since I applied. I hear the worst information being spouted (not from those on this forum) from those who claim to have had their CHL for a long time. I think their learning processed stopped after they completed their first course, and frankly I don't know how they made it through all those renewals, and they're not Noobs. At my age, I love to be called a Noob at anything. Makes me feel young again
