If you are looking for a full size 1911, how about a taurus 1911? I have read some reviews about them and they seem like a good value. I think i might pick one up when i get my tax return next year...

I was looking at a kimber as well and decided to give my glock 30 a try as well. What about the kimber ultra carry II or pro carry II? From my research, those were on the lower end in terms of price for kimbers and seemed like a good choice for cc. Are you looking for a full size 1911?
