I do not know the legality's of Texas laws but at MP school they always stressed to us that "alcohol is an odorless drug" thus how could he have smelled it. The officer does not smell alcohol per say he simply smells all of the other ingredients and flavorings.

Maybe I am confused but are yall saying that a city cant post a 30.06 sign on there property at all or are you saying that they can but they must obey by the the state statue?

Ok well on the same lines of a post office being in a shopping center what about a police substation being in a mall or shoping center? I obviously understand that you can not carry in to a police station. However can you carry in a mall with a substation or even in to the actuall substation at the ...

I have a buddy at work that claims his dad can carry on a airplane concealed. He says that his father is in no way shape or form law enforcment. I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of this before and if so what does it take to be able to carry on a plane.

Thanks alot for clearing that up for me. I did notice that you couldnt carry at a movie theater or similar places just ready to get back to T.X. so I dont have to worry about all these crazy laws

I was wondering if the 30.06 sign is a Texas only law or if it applys to all states and if it dosent apply to all states can business owners just put up a 2 dollar sign from homedpot in there window and it becomes law that you cant carry there. My status on the Texas DPS site says aplication completed- license issued or certificate active. Does this mean that my CHL is in the mail? I know this may sound stupid but I dont wana get my hopes up for no reason
